1. Is there a setup fee?
No. We do not charge a setup fee for most standard events. Setup typically takes one hour or less. In rare cases—such as large-scale events requiring extensive lighting or additional production—an additional setup fee may apply. Over 99% of our events do not incur a setup charge.
2. How much time is required for setup?
Most events with up to 200 guests require two hours or less for setup. Larger events with additional equipment may require extra setup time, which will be discussed in advance.
3. What type of music will be played?
You have full control over the music selection. Our DJs are highly experienced across all genres and specialize in reading the crowd and playing the right music at the right time. With over 20 years of experience, we tailor every performance to fit your audience and event vibe.
4. Is overtime available if the event runs longer than planned?
Yes. Overtime is available at an additional cost, subject to DJ availability. We recommend reserving extra time in advance to avoid higher same-day overtime rates.
5. How far in advance should we book a DJ?
The earlier, the better. Dates fill quickly as the year progresses. March, April, September, and October are especially popular months. We strongly recommend booking early to secure your date.
6. Can guests request songs, and will the DJ play them?
Absolutely. Guest requests are welcome and will be played when they fit the flow of the event. Our DJs carry thousands of songs and often have the ability to download requested tracks on the spot when needed.
7. How do we book your services?
Booking requires a signed digital contract and a deposit, payable online or in person. This secures your event date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event, with email reminders provided.
8. What is your cancellation or postponement policy?
If an event is canceled, the deposit is non-refundable. If you need to postpone, we will honor your contract and apply it to a new date, subject to availability.
9. Can we meet the DJ before our event?
Yes. We encourage consultations as part of our planning process. Multiple planning meetings are available to ensure every detail is clear and aligned. This is standard practice for delivering a professional, stress-free experience.
10. Is there anything else we should know?
You are hiring a professional DJ service. Professional DJs have mastered their craft and deliver high-quality performance, preparation, and confidence. We take pride in our work and in providing exceptional service from start to finish.
